This project was funded by the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The project primary purpose was to protect and enhance the conveyance in San Pedro Creek from the historic San Pedro Springs Park downstream to IH-10. Along with the channel work, street and drainage replacement was done on North Flores, Fredericksburg Rd. Laredo St., and Myrtle. Channel walls in San Pedro Springs Park and key highly visible areas of the Five Points intersection were done with special attention to fit into the character and appearance of this historic and archeologically sensitive area.

The Acequia Trail will have traffic control on it near the Mission Reach between Graf Rd. and SE Military on Mission Parkway starting next Monday, April 29th. Please use caution around this area.
