Facilities Design & Construction

Facilities Design & Construction

After assessing the long-term space needs of the River Authority and evaluating various options regarding new building designs for the property located at 201 W. Sheridan, the  River Authority will break  ground on its Sheridan Campus, a two-story, 57,000-square-foot office building. Just minutes from the River Authority’s main headquarters, the project reflects a long-term investment in responsible development, environmental stewardship, and operational growth. The campus will support the agency’s mission of protecting and enhancing our waterways and will provide office space for the River Authority’s technical services departments including the River Authority’s nationally accredited water quality laboratory. Construction began in May 2025 and is expected to be complete by November 2026.
