The Link-Preliminary Engineering Report

The Link-Preliminary Engineering Report

The Preliminary Engineering Report for the Link was completed in Q1 2024.

The initial project funding supported exploring the feasibility of the Link Project through a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER). The PER refines the project scope, construction costs and fully assess the ability of the project to be implemented. The full project is envisioned as a pedestrian and bicycle connection generally following the alignment of Savings Street, between the San Antonio River Walk and San Pedro Creek Cultural Park. The PER explores having water features, hike and bike amenities, public art, and other elements creating a link that promotes redevelopment opportunities in the immediate project area.
