Holly Jolly Kayak Promotional Event
Kayak and see the Holiday Lights on the San Antonio River!
Join us in spreading the holiday cheer through the Museum Reach segment of the San Antonio River. Make a reservation to experience the river by kayak as the sun goes down and the river lights up. Take this uncommon opportunity to enjoy some time on the water while you get in the holiday spirit.
Register for a River Authority provided Kayak or bring your own Kayak and enjoy a view of the holiday lights from the water.
Registration and Fees: $15 to reserve kayak, Free for BYOB (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
Tickets to go on sale Saturday, Nov. 23rd @ 10 am!

Park Alert: Escondido Park Playground

Please be aware that on Thursday, 3/20, the Playground area at Escondido Creek Parkway will be closed for maintenance. This may be extended into Friday as well. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.

Goliad Paddling Trail Alert

NOTICE: HWY 59 Landing Site Closed

Due to TxDOT construction on the HWY 59 Bridge, the HWY 59 landing site is closed until further notice. However, the Goliad Paddling Trail remains open, and paddlers can still access the river at the Riverdale, Ferry Street, and Goliad State Park landings.

Please plan accordingly and check back for updates.

Trail Closure: Museum Reach at Pearl

The area near Pearl North Bridge and Museum Reach trail under bridge on west bank is currently closed. Please refer to the map below for alternative routes.

SASPAMCO Paddling Trail Temporarily Closed

Staff have removed two large log jams just downstream of Helton Nature Park, keeping the southern portion of the SASPAMCO Paddling Trail temporarily closed. Staff are working to contact adjacent landowners to support a land-based removal solution.

SASPAMCO Paddling Trail

The SASPAMCO paddling trail is open from River Crossing Park to Helton Nature Park.
*Please Note: Paddling Trail from Helton Nature Park to HWY 97 is still closed due to blockages.
