Try out FREE kayaking and join in on the excitement of our fishing clinic, kayak decorating contest, and new bicycle decorating contest! It’s a FREE Fiesta event celebrating nature, culture, and the scenic San Antonio River!

Bringing Your Own Kayak?

Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks, as Acequia Park is a public space. However, Flotilla Fiesta is designed as a free kayaking opportunity for beginners rather than a full kayak trip. Kayaking will take place on Davis Lake, with paddling sessions lasting 10–20 minutes. Those bringing their own kayaks should note that access to the event’s designated portage may be limited when busy. Remember, you can always enjoy kayaking throughout the San Antonio River Basin year-round!
