¿Sabías que la Autoridad Fluvial del Río San Antonio (Autoridad Fluvial) mantiene más de 500 acres de parques a lo largo de las 240 millas que transcurre el Río San Antonio? A continuación, resaltamos algunos datos sobre nuestros parques y senderos para que puedas planear tu visita. Condado Bexar

Nuestra jornada comienza en el Parque Cultural del Arroyo San Pedro, un parque lineal de clase mundial con propósito que combina el arte público, diseño arquitectónico y la preservación histórica con ingeniería y paisajismo nativo. En el Paseo del Río, el segmento Museum Reach ofrece un parque urbano atractivo a lo largo del río con instalaciones de arte público, el Museo Witte, el Museo de Arte de San Antonio, un destino culinario y cultural en el reimaginado Pearl histórico y ¡el puesto VFW más antiguo de Texas que está abierto al público!

La jornada continua en dirección sur en el Paseo del Río llegando al segmento Mission Reach donde no sólo puedes caminar, andar en bici y remar el río, también puedes observar a más de 200 especies aviarias que se han marcado como parte de nuestro estudio aviario. No te olvides de parar en Confluence Park para aprender cómo este parque galardonado a nivel internacional fue construido usando principios de diseño único para atrapar, recolectar y usar la lluvia que cae en la propiedad. Finalmente, disfruta de un bocado rápido y accede el primer punto del sendero para remar SASPAMCO en el River Crossing Park al sur del Condado Bexar.

Camping at John William Helton Nature Park

¿Haz tratado el “disc golf”? ¡Graytown Park ofrece un campo de disc golf torneo calibre de nivel Par 57 para usar gratis! El siguiente parque de la Autoridad Fluvial queda a corta distancia manejando (o remando). John William Helton – San Antonio River Nature Park ofrece árboles de nuez frondosos y es la destinación ideal para entusiastas de recreación al aire libre, los que le gusta la naturaleza y para atletas. Además, ¡ahora puedes reservar uno de 42 espacios para campamento primitivo durante la noche! La Autoridad Fluvial también mantiene a Jackson Nature Park en Stockdale, una joya guardada donde familias pueden disfrutar de un día excursionando, estudiando a la naturaleza, observando pájaros y teniendo picnics.

Condado Karnes

Escondido Creek Parkway playground

La Autoridad Fluvial colaboró con la Ciudad Kenedy, Kenedy 4B Corporation y la Cámara de Comercio de Kenedy para el diseño y construcción de Escondido Creek Parkway en el Condado Karnes. ¡El parque ofrece senderos para caminar y andar en bici, un parque infantil, pabellón, chapoteadero y más para el disfrute de miembros de la comunidad de todas las edades y la gran apertura de la primera fase ocurrió en octubre 2020!

Condado Goliad

Branch River Park, Downtown Goliad View

¡Branch River Park enlaza la historia y la naturaleza con mucha diversión! Planea un picnic bajo los legados robles o en el pabellón cercano mientras los niños disfrutan del parque infantil. Pon a prueba tu habilidad en el campo disc golf de 9 hoyos o también puedes observar a diferentes especies de aves. El parque también ofrece acceso al sendero para remar Goliad Paddling Trail y es una conexión cercana al sendero para caminar y andar en bici Angel of Goliad, el cual conecta al Parque Estatal Goliad y el lugar natal del General Zaragoza.

The restrooms at Camino Coahuilteca along the Acequia Park Trail will be temporarily closed on Thursday, April 16 due to parking lot improvements in the area.

We encourage visitors to plan accordingly and utilize nearby facilities during this time.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this work to enhance the park experience.

 

Museum Reach – Oxbow Trail Closure Notice

The Oxbow Trail along the Museum Reach will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, April 13 through May 1 to accommodate project-related work in the area.

For public safety, access to this section of the trail will be restricted during this time. Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and use alternate routes.

Wayfinding signage and trail closure notices will be posted at designated locations to help guide trail users around the closure.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this work to help maintain safe and enjoyable trail conditions.

San Pedro Creek Culture Park

The east bank trail along San Pedro Creek will be temporarily closed between the upper trail at Cameron St. and the lower trail at two access points.

Closure details:

  • The first closure will impact the connector from the upper trail near West Houston St. to the south lower San Pedro Creek trail.
  • Once work at this location is complete and the trail reopens, construction will shift to the second closure area between the upper and lower trails on the opposite side of the green space.

Please follow posted signage and plan alternate routes. We appreciate your patience as this work is completed.

The Brackenridge Trail

Trail Lighting Notice – Brackenridge Park Trail

Due to an electrical issue, lighting is currently out along the north portion of the trail, from the Josephine Street inlet to just past Highway 281 within the Brackenridge Park Trail. Our team is actively working to correct the issue and expects repairs to be completed by the end of business tomorrow.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to restore lighting. Please use caution when traveling through this area, especially during evening hours.

Trail Closure Alert – Calder Alley, San Pedro Creek

Maintenance work will be done in Calder Alley starting Wednesday, September 18, 2025.

  • Trails will remain open during this work.
  • One bench at a time will be temporarily barricaded while improvements are completed.
  • There may be occasional contractor pickups in the area.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to maintain and improve San Pedro Creek for all to enjoy!

SASPAMCO Paddling Trail

The SASPAMCO paddling trail is open from River Crossing Park to Helton Nature Park.
*Please Note: Paddling Trail from Helton Nature Park to HWY 97 is still closed due to blockages. 

SASPAMCO Paddling Trail Temporarily Closed

Staff have removed two large log jams just downstream of Helton Nature Park, keeping the southern portion of the SASPAMCO Paddling Trail temporarily closed. Staff are working to contact adjacent landowners to support a land-based removal solution.

Goliad Paddling Trail Alert

NOTICE: HWY 59 Landing Site Closed

Due to TxDOT construction on the HWY 59 Bridge, the HWY 59 landing site is closed until further notice. However, the Goliad Paddling Trail remains open, and paddlers can still access the river at the Riverdale, Ferry Street, and Goliad State Park landings.

Please plan accordingly and check back for updates.
