This September, the San Antonio River Foundation, in partnership with the San Antonio River Authority, invites you to experience the Wild & Scenic Film Festival for two evenings celebrating film, community, and the natural world! Mark your calendars and join us at Escondido Creek Parkway in Kenedy, TX, or Confluence Park in San Antonio, TX for an unforgettable night of inspiring films and community fun.
About the Festival
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature through film. Wild & Scenic shares an urgent call to action, encouraging festivalgoers to learn more about what they can do to save our threatened planet. Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) to raise funds and awareness to recover California’s wild salmon and protect the Yuba River watershed. Wild & Scenic On Tour brings this urgent environmental message to the San Antonio River Basin. When you join us for the festival, you join a growing community dedicated to conservation and climate solutions!
Both events are FREE and open to the public. Join us for an evening of inspiring films, great food, a screen-printing art activity, live music, and community under the Texas sky.

Nature Rx Returns with New Ways to Connect
Nature Rx programming will continue at Confluence Park this fall, with a variety of offerings designed to help you connect with nature, slow down, and support your well-being!
The Seed Series provides hands-on learning about native seeds and the key role they play in our local ecosystem, while giving participants the opportunity to package seeds for the community through the Seed Library.
If you haven’t had a chance to experience Sunday Soulful Yoga with Mobile Om yet, there’s still time before the series ends in November. Yoga offers a chance to move, breathe, and recharge outdoors. Looking for something cute? PAWS for a Cause Puppy Yoga with SNIPSA takes place once a month, combining yoga with adorable adoptable pups while benefiting a great cause.
Spring Forest Qigong, a practice of meditative movement, takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. We’ll also welcome the changing season with a Forest Bathing experience on September 19, inviting participants to slow down and immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the river. Take a step outside and experience these offerings for yourself.

Join our Forest Bathing community for a rejuvenating outdoor experience while immersing yourself in nature!
Bee Our Guest!
The River Foundation’s second annual Pollinator Tea Party is taking place October 10 from 5 to 9 pm at Confluence Park! This family-friendly, low-waste event celebrates pollinators through immersive nature playscapes, environmental education, and sustainable practices during the biannual Monarch Butterfly migration.
Registration is FREE — come dressed as your favorite pollinator!
