This project will take the Martinez IV Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) from a permitted capacity of 2.0 million gallons per day (MGD) to 5.1 MGD. Continuous growth in the Martinez IV service area continues to drive expansion needs at the Martinez IV WWTP.
The Rain from Heaven installation is temporarily out of service for maintenance.

Beginning Monday, January 13 through Friday, January 17, a small section of the San Antonio River will be drained as part of the River Walk Maintenance Program. The work will not affect the River Walk loop and Go Rio boat service will continue to operate in the river loop area. For more information, please refer to the City of San Antonio’s website.
Please be advised that trails near the Confluence Park and Conception Park area will be temporarily closed due to ongoing Stem Density efforts. Stem Density efforts in the Eagle Land segment will be extended through the end of February 2025.
Staff have removed two large log jams just downstream of Helton Nature Park, keeping the southern portion of the SASPAMCO Paddling Trail temporarily closed. Staff are working to contact adjacent landowners to support a land-based removal solution.
The SASPAMCO paddling trail is open from River Crossing Park to Helton Nature Park.
*Please Note: Paddling Trail from Helton Nature Park to HWY 97 is still closed due to blockages.
