SASPAMCO PADDLING TRAIL
River Authority parks and trails are currently open and staff will continue to provide the necessary services to keep our parks and trails safe, clean, and enjoyable. Currently, there are known log jams south of Helton Nature Park. As a result, we are encouraging paddlers to refrain from using the trail in this area. We will continue paddling trail inspections and remove any log jams as quickly and safely as feasible. Rivers are ever-changing dynamic systems with inherent dangers, so please proceed at your own risk and plan your trip so that your paddling skills are equal to the river conditions. More safety tips are here.
We will continue to monitor public health recommendations and make additional decisions and announcements as necessary. Please continue to follow us via our social media channels and visit our website for updates.
