What is River Rodeo?
River Rodeo is a community-wide fishing challenge hosted by the San Antonio River Authority and the San Antonio River Foundation in partnership with Angler’s Atlas, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the Fin Addict Angler Foundation, and the Brackenridge Park Conservancy.
From now until May 31, 2026, anglers of all experience levels can fish the San Antonio River (Headwaters to Mission Reach), log catches using MyCatch, compete on live leaderboards, win prizes, and contribute valuable fisheries data that supports real river science.
Fish the River. Log Your Catch. Make an Impact.
Every submission helps contribute to fisheries research and river management by collecting species, size, and general location data—turning every cast into citizen science.
Friendly Competition & Prizes
Compete across multiple leaderboards, be eligible for prizes and random raffles, and celebrate the river as a safe, clean, and enjoyable place to fish.
