Sandy West is the Human Resources Director and has been with the San Antonio River Authority since November 2021.

Sandy’s experience includes serving as the Director of Human Resources for the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East and the Director of HR Strategic Planning Initiatives for Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.  Sandy has extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Talent Management, Records and HR Info Systems, and HR Strategy (to name a few).

She is a Senior Certified Professional (SHMR-SPC) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. Additionally, she is a Certified Project Manager, a Licensed Insurance Producer, and is pursuing a PMP certification.

Sandy is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.
