QUÉ: The River Authority and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) are inviting the public to an open house event, highlighting the remarkable progress achieved at Mission Reach over the past decade. The Mission Reach, an 8-mile linear park, boasts over 16 miles of scenic trails for pedestrians and bicyclists. Additionally, water enthusiasts can explore the paddling trail by canoe or kayak. The trails are connected to Mission Portals’ works of art, serving as gateways to the San Antonio World Heritage Mission Sites. The open house will offer six engaging activation stations, providing attendees with educational activities on various topics, including prescribed burns, aquatic species, and water quality. The event is free and open to the public.
