San Antonio River Basin LID Technical Guidance manual
The San Antonio River Basin Regional Modeling Standards for Hydrology and Hydraulic Modeling
was developed in 2006 in support of regional flood studies that were prepared as part of the
Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Flood Map Modernization (Map Mod) program.
This document details the changes made to update Appendix B to reflect current monitoring schedule; added conventionals monitoring inadvertently excluded from Amendment #4.
As a taxing authority, the San Antonio River Authority is entrusted with the fiduciary responsibility to effectively manage public funds in a manner that exemplifies the highest standards of accountability, transparency and integrity to provide the appropriate level of quality public service.
The San Antonio River Authority defines watershed management as a holistic approach to managing land use changes through scientifically-based master planning techniques which promote land management that respects the natural flow of water on the land and maintains natural processes in altered landscapes.
