The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority), in partnership with the San Antonio River Foundation, will host the inaugural River Symposium: “Cleaning, Protecting, and taking Pride in our Waterways.” This fun, family-friendly weekend will provide opportunities to learn, celebrate, network, and explore the San Antonio River Basin and the agency that works to preserve and protect this important natural resource.
Participants will enjoy insightful presentations on safe, clean, and enjoyable creeks and rivers that include training sessions, park tours and activities, outdoor volunteer events, a kayaking event, and a special evening mixer. These activities during the River Symposium are FREE and open to the public with the exception of two events, the kayak event and the evening mixer, which are hosted by our non-profit partners, San Antonio River Foundation.
Those who sign up to attend the River Symposium will also be given a free t-shirt, giveaway prizes, and free admittance to the River Authority’s 8th Annual Environmental Film Fest, which will be virtual this year. Make sure to register today, spots are filling up fast!
**All donations will benefit the San Antonio River Foundation.
